Kate Studley
'Mycology'
A3
This series of illustrations demonstrates the artist's thought process and narratives for her sculptures.
These pieces present a manipulation of organic forms that are often considered grotesque by the viewer. By removing the subject from its context the artist aims to change the audience's perspective of these organisms, helping to realise that all nature is beautiful.
