Kate Studley

Commissioned as part of the Stadt Glühen festival in Aachen, this piece was created as a site specific work for Augustinerplatz in Aachen centre. The work was exhibited in the space for a total of three weeks before it was relocated to the Hangerweiher, a natural creek in Aachen.

This piece was the first work to include underwater plants in combination with climbing plants. The work also included an irrigation pump system using a solar panel so as to create a self-sustaining site specific art piece.
