Having felt exploited by fear, the artist intends to encourage the audience to experience this exploitation through the piece 'Ophidiophobia'. Triggered from a traumatising childhood memory, the piece explores the artist’s irrational fear of snakes. Through metamorphosis, 'Ophidiophobia' presents the transformation of the artists own arm from human into a serpent. By creating a physicality of such a strong psychological reaction, the piece portrays a worst case scenario experience.
