At the end of one's tether.
2022
(clay, jute on wood)
This piece was created for the space GKK Space in Krefeld Germany as part of the group show: Response. 2022. This new research of work revisits the study into locally sourced clay which was developed during the studies. The clay hands in combination with the jute hope to represent the fragility of humanity in the face of natural catastrophy, evoking unsettling and unease in the viewer, The title references a common phrase used in British English to express moments of ultimate distress.
